About Me
- Michael Donnelly
- I am a veteran of two wars, (Viet Nam and Iraq). I served with the 1st Marines QRF in Viet Nam in 1969 & 70, and Iraq, with 1st Marine EOD in 2006. I recently received a Commendation from the Marines in Iraq. The citation is long, but I am most proud that it states the following. “HIS ACTIONS SAVED COUNTLESS LIVES BY GIVING THE EXPLOSIVE ORDIANCE DISPOSAL OPERATOR THE ABILITY TO NEUTRALIZE IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEVICES REMOTELY WHICH IN TURN ALLOWED THE MARINES, SOLDIERS AND SAILORS WITHIN THE AREA OF OPERATIONS THE ABILITY TO MANUVER ON THE BATLEFEILD WITHOUT THE LOSS OF LIFE.” To get this from the Marines makes me very proud. Semper FI! I am a native Texan, born in San Antonio, and raised in Houston. I am now proud to be a U.S. Army MP seving with the 302MP Co. I am the "Dark Horse".
